A hiatus from my first love.

     I hate working in retail.  Thanksgiving was less than a week ago, and I already feel my brain turning to fuzz.  Which leads me to conclude that I will have to take a short break from reading.  I hate to do it, but I'm useless.  I can't focus.  I can't remember characters, what they did, events that have happened, etc.

     So until I can get my brain back on track, I'm taking a rest.  I just want to spend my free time relaxing, doing things that don't require thinking.  That doesn't mean that I won't be posting anything; I have some plans for Hanukkah (which starts tomorrow night) and Christmas.

     So sit back, relax, make yourself some cocoa... and come back tomorrow.

Bad News

     For those of you who don't already know:  I've messed up my wrist. I'm not exactly sure what I've done to it, but I've been wearing a brace and resting it.  That seems to be working so I'll probably keep it up for another week.

     This means some bad blog news.  I probably won't post much this week because it takes a long time to type.  But don't worry, I still have things in the works!  I realized the book I'm reading has a glossary in the back, which will make for an easy Words I Don't Know post.  I'm also writing a draft on the book I finished over the weekend, so you've got that to look forward to.  Until then, happy reading!
